i struggle with the IETF on a number of fronts, but this was a surprisingly compelling read. technology has become a far more powerful tool for suppression and surveillance than we thought it would be in the mid-late 1990s when we were super pumped about the democratization of information access.
protocol analysis for information leakage is something that’s been de rigueur from a security perspective for some time, but even that’s proven to be insufficient.
