i got this little gem of a reminder from the folks at RIPE this morning.
i suspect that actual uptime has been a bit better than noted, but i haven’t been the most rigorous about keeping the lab/monitoring segment online over the years.
this covers connectivity through comcast, centurylink/qwest and USI over the past 10 years. it also includes stints at cisco (partially), juniper, palo alto networks and arista. a lot’s happened over the past 10 years.
oh, what to burn those credits on?

Dear steve ulrich,
It's your probe's birthday today !!
To celebrate that fact, we are giving you 9768607 credits to use for
scheduling your own measurements.
In the last 10 years your probe was connected for 98% of the time.
Happy measuring and thank you on behalf of everyone at the RIPE NCC and the
other RIPE Atlas users.
