    i’m not sure where i dug this up. (i suspect it was via HN) it’s bang on almost all the reasons i prefer a hard book vs. kindle or reading on my ipad. (for books). worth reading. or, printing it out and reading.

    i’m in the middle of reading antarctica by kim stanley-robinson. there was an interesting aside in the text that sent me down a few rabbit holes today. of particular interest was a discussion of the relationship between scientists (technocrats), politicians and the frustration of the masses who feel like there’s no place for them, or they’re being exploited. seemed more than a little pertinent given the state of things lately.
