checks watch … yeah, it’s 2025. we still haven’t made progress on fixing the “healthcare” system in this country. everything is precarious AF. your health insurance isn’t there to actually help you with your healthcare costs. it’s there to provide a theoretical maximum that you pay out of pocket each year. which is still far more than most american households can bear.

the ACA papered over this with subsidies, but this just resulted in handouts to the insurance companies. no party has the teeth to do anything that stands in the way of the interests of the insurance companies so we’re all 0wn3d.
