this collection of early 1980s NPR audio recordings of _a canticle for leibowitz_disgorged itself into my things.app todo list ages ago. never to be given a lick of attention to because i couldn’t bring myself to step through these while sitting at my computer. that and i can’t tolerate listening to audiobooks at normal speed.
i’d been meaning to wrap these into an RSS feed for podcast purposes. but that was, yet another thing. then i just downloaded the files to my computer and spent 10 minutes with claude and a small bit of tweaking.
which imports into overcast (my preferred podcasting app) trivially and now i can listen to this when i’m doing my physical therapy a couple of times a day.
